Meet our new editorial director Corinne Lynds

In the midst of snow squalls and biting arctic temperatures, we warmly welcomed editorial director Corinne Lynds to the Motum B2B fold. After more than two decades managing B2B editorial teams at Canada’s largest publishing firms, she has extensive experience developing engaging content for readers, clients and sponsors in the construction and manufacturing sectors.

“Corinne brings a lot of different elements to our team,” says Motum B2B president Lisa Kemerer. “She knows the audiences inside and out — what makes them tick, what will resonate. This will play a key role in identifying different tactics to get in front of our clients’ audiences.”

Most recently, Corinne held a dual role at Annex Business Media, as editor of commercial construction magazine On-Site and editorial director. In this senior editorial position she collaborated with more than 60 trade publications in a wide range of industries, including: construction, manufacturing, safety, agriculture, engineering, packaging, and plastics.

Corinne is taking over for Jason Rhyno, who joined us three years ago as senior copywriter, and quickly worked his way up the ranks to lead the content team as editorial director. “Anything I accomplished in my time at Motum is first and foremost because of the writing team I had the opportunity to work with,” explains Jason. “They challenged my thinking and approach, rounding out many of the successful pitches that came out of our department.”

He adds: “Corinne is highly respected among the B2B trade magazine community and has the editorial instincts necessary to make a content marketing program standout from the steady stream of pablum that passes for content these days. I’m excited to see where she takes our clients’ programs.”
